How many jumps do you have?
How many years in the sport?
When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
I grew up racing dirt bikes. I was a surfer, skater anything extreme so I guess adrenaline is one of my things.
What was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?
On one of my employee’s birthdays, he said he was going skydiving. I overheard his conversation and I butted in saying, “I will go with you if you’re really going!” From that day on I was hooked.
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
I landed after my first jump and my first question was, “Can I go again?”
What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?
My most memorable skydive was when I did a gender reveal for my daughter in front of all my family and friends. Three of my buddies and I jumped into the property I grew up on.
If you could jump with anyone in the world, who would you like to jump with and why?
It would be my daughter who is 3 years old now and would let me take her tomorrow. I seriously can’t wait to have her jumping with me one day.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about jumping for the first time?
If you’re wanting to get into this sport it’s a big commitment. You have to put your heart into it and strive to stay on top of your game. It’s dangerous which means it needs to be taken seriously. It’s a great thing if safety is first. Have fun, jump safe.
