Anyone interested in doing night jumps at Skydive Coastal Carolinas should contact us at 843-756-9869 or email information. Anyone who hasn't jumped at SCC within the last 30 days will need to do one jump during the daytime prior to making any night jumps. According to Section 6-4 in the SIM's (page 123-124) 1. To qualify for night jumps you must posses a current valid B or higher license. 2. Have participated in a comprehensive brief & drill within the 60 days before the intended night jumps with an S&TA, IE, or USPA Instructor and have this information logged in your logbook. According to this same section you must have: 1. A light visible for at least 3 statute miles displayed from opening until the jumper is on the ground (FAA). 2. Lighted altimeter 3. Clear goggles 4. Jumper manifest 5. Flashlight 6. Sufficient light to illuminate landing target Please familiarize yourself with Night jumps in Section 6-4 pages 123 & 124 in the 2003 SIM's. |
